Android Automotive offers the development speed and ecosystem of a mobile environment. It offers tons of customization options and gives the potential to create a user experience on par with world-class software products. It takes little time for Android developers to get going with it, greatly improving access to talent and reducing development time.

What are GAS and GAS-less?

Out of the box, Android Automotive does not come with services like an app store or navigation app. Choosing which services to use greatly affects the look & feel of the product. There are two options:

- GAS (Google Automotive Services): This requires a licensing deal with Google and includes Google Maps, Google Assistant, and Play Store. But Google takes responsibility for the design and imposes heavy restrictions on the design.

- Non-GAS: There is much more freedom in terms of design and features, but it requires separate deals with service providers for an app store, navigation app, and more. Snapp OS is non-GAS. 

Does your system include the instrument cluster?

Yes, we take into account all displays inside the car, including the instrument cluster and passenger displays.
